Short Term Mission Trip

Info For Work Groups

Funds for Mission: $250 per person provides materials for work sites and needs of NCF

Suggested Travel: Fly to Phoenix Saturday to Saturday schedule. Some groups return home Friday morning to see Grand Canyon and get a hotel for the night.

Meals: The team prepares their own meals in our Recreation Centers kitchen and NCF staff will help prepare Navajo Tacos one night with team's help of providing the food.

Lodging: The mission prefers 20 to 25 members, but can accommodate up to 36 with 18 in each dorm room for boys and girls including leaders.

Sunday: Worship at Dilkon 1st Church of the Nazarene. Optional trips can include going to Canyon De Chelly or a day hike in Dilkon.

Mid-Week Trip: In the summer, after working hard a few days on Thursday around lunch, we take the team to Clear Creek to swim. Then to the Little Painted Desert, on the way back to Dilkon, to grill out and worship with the sunset.

Evangelism/Outreach: Teams can hold basketball clinics, volleyball, VBS, maintenance of local churches and assisting the homes of widows. If applicable at the time, our foster home has children in need of encouragement, interaction, and bible devotions.
